The Prissy Hen Social Hour is a blast. Therapy, stress relief, fun, laughter, friends, lots of information. We can truly cover everything from lipstick to world politics, although not too much politics...not on the air anyway! We talk about everything and nothing, we laugh and cry and laugh some more. Some shows are just packed full of information and others probably have absolutely no actual information involved, but they were all a lot of fun. We came up with the idea for the show in order to talk about local events and all the happenings in our home town. We are all business women, very civic minded. We serve on various committees and boards including The Chamber of Commerce Tourism Board. In being involved in planning numerous events, we wanted to create a forum to publicize all the great things that go on in Dickson County. We talk about so many important things, Relay For Life, Banebow, The Help Center, Old Timers Day, Christmas in Downtown, “be local”, homelessness, church events, local sports both school sports and recreational and much, much more! We are so inspired by so many people and we love talking about our home and all the wonderful things about it. We are all about “Being Local!”
We are so excited to bring our show to Local Cable Access Channel 19. The Prissy Hen Social Hour airs on Tuesday evenings at 9:00 p.m., Thursday evenings at 6:00 p.m. and Saturdays at noon. We have a team of great people who are involved in the show. Matt Tidwell and Jordan Cross are our “co-executive producers”. We actually have a pretty big “Advisary Team”, (they may not be aware of their illustrious title), headed by Caroline Arnold, who help us gather info, come up with show ideas and content, who help arrange guests and on occasion agree to be our guests, and who give us constructive criticism, etc.
